Mountain Biking

Mountain biking from Lakesea Caravan Park is a great way to see the Murramarang National Park with endless off-road tracks to explore and unique coastal forest areas often inaccessible by car. Mountain bikers have on offer a fantastic variety of trails from flat easy riding to more challenging mountainous terrain. The main dirt roads from Lakesea Caravan Park out to North Head are mostly smooth and suited to all levels of riders. A short road ride toward Murramarang Resort will put you at the start of the trail. From there you have approximately a 40 minute direct ride to reach North Head or stop off at one of the many beautiful unspoiled beaches along the way which are all well sign posted. For the more adventurous, some of the single tracks between beaches will test your equipment and reward you with some spectacular coastal views. For a map of this area go to the Coastline Walk, so for your next visit to Durras throw the mountain bike in for some great rides with the family or mates and explore our magic surroundings.
